This is the file sub-menu that can be used to
tune VSAM files as well as the LSR pools.
These displays allow the user to quickly determine tuning
areas for VSAM files. For
example, Option “9” can be used to identify which files have
incorrect cluster definitions that may affect performance such as an
incorrect CA size or the specification of write check.
One of the major advantages of using C\TREK to tune the VSAM
files is that in a matter of seconds, a user can identify the files
that require attention. This
task could take weeks if done manually or with other performance
monitors.
